Can my child read this?
If you would let your child watch Pirates of the Caribbean, then they are okay to read this. While it is "new adult" (because the main characters are between the ages of 18-30) with some mature themes (drinking, violence, etc.), it's "clean" because foul language is censored and bedroom scenes are fade-to-black.
If there are sailors, is there swearing?
Technically yes... but it's in a made up a language called Ydvik! For instance, Ferryn's favorite exclamation is "cahzk!"
Are there are graphic scenes because it's New Adult?
Nope! While there are romantic elements in the series, all bedroom scenes are fade-to-black, meaning the implication is there but nothing is described.
When is the third book of The Kingdom Isles coming out?

What comes after The Kingdom Isles?
I have a YA supernatural trilogy I've nicknamed "Better Than Twilight" which features werewolves and vampires in a theater. After that (hopefully) rapid release, there will be a seven book generational series I've nicknamed "Steampunk Naruto."
